For Amazon Brand Registry owners
Brand registered? Your EAN matters.
If you own the brand and it is enrolled in Amazon Brand Registry, the labelling equation changes. For eligible FBA products, Brand Registry representatives can use the product's manufacturer barcode, such as its EAN / GTIN, instead of applying an Amazon FNSKU label to every unit.
That makes Inventmo especially useful for private-label, white-label and own-brand businesses selling through Seller Central, and for brand owners supplying Amazon through Vendor Central. Your products already need a proper retail barcode, so the challenge becomes printing clean, consistent EAN labels quickly and economically.
Buying pre-printed EAN labels in short runs can be disproportionately expensive. Order too many and a packaging or product change can leave you with rolls you no longer need. Inventmo lets you print the quantity required in-house, on demand, using the product data you already hold.

Inventmo is being prepared to support GS1-compliant 2D barcodes, including QR Codes powered by GS1 and GS1 DataMatrix, as retailers move towards broader 2D barcode scanning at point of sale.
GS1's Ambition 2027 is for retail point-of-sale systems globally to be capable of reading a defined set of GS1 2D barcodes by the end of 2027. During the transition, traditional EAN / UPC barcodes will continue to coexist with 2D symbols, so businesses need a practical way to support both.
For brand owners, 2D barcodes can do far more than identify a product. They can carry or link to information such as GTIN, batch or lot data, expiry dates, serial numbers, product information, recycling guidance and other brand-controlled online content.
